Disneyland Paris Travel Guide: 1 Day Itinerary & Tips for 2025.

Sleeping Beauty's Castle at Disneyland Paris. 1 Day At Disneyland Paris Itinerary & Tips. By The Organised Explorers.

Planning a magical day at Disneyland Paris but only have 1 day to explore? No problem! Our ultimate 1 day Disneyland Paris itinerary will help you make the most of your time. Whether you're visiting Disneyland Paris for the first time or returning for another magical experience, this guide is designed to help you make the most of your 24 hours. Find out how to ride the top attractions, discover hidden gems, enjoy award-winning shows, skip the long lines, and so much more. Let’s get started!

Note: For this itinerary, you'll need a 1 day/2 park ticket. If you have an annual pass or an undated ticket, you will need to register the date of your visit before entry. More information here.

Morning: Explore Walt Disney Studios.

If you want to make the most of your day at Disneyland Paris, arriving as early as possible is essential. If you're staying in a Disney Hotel, make the most of Extra Magic Time and arrive early to the parks. If you're staying offsite, arrive as early as possible to make the most of your day.

As much as you'll want to start your day gazing upon the beautiful Sleeping Beauty castle, we recommend you make the most of the morning's shorter queue times and start the day in Walt Disney Studios.

Toon Studio & Worlds of Pixar.

When you enter the park, you want to follow the crowd to the right and ride Crush's Coaster first. Usually, we don't like to follow the crowd, but wait times for this attraction are consistently high (60 - 120 minutes long) so we recommend heading there first in Extra Magic Time for shorter queues. If the wait time is already above 60 minutes when you arrive, we suggest riding Crush's Coaster later in the day, as other attractions will have shorter queues in the morning. Alternatively, you can buy a Premier Access pass where you can skip the queue.

After being spun around on Crush's Coaster head to the back of the park to ride Ratatouille: The Adventure, a fun, immersive 4D attraction that's fun for all the family. Pick up some souvenirs from Chez Marianne and look at all the little details in this beautiful land before making your way across the park to enjoy the thrilling drops on The Twilight Zone Tower Of Terror.

Explore Disneyland Paris' newest land.

Avengers Campus is Disneyland Paris' newest land, with 2 new attractions, 2 restaurants and lots of shows and characters it is a must do for Marvel fans of all ages. Join Spiderman and catch escaped spider bots on W.E.B Adventure. Then, team up with Iron Man and Captain Marvel to save the world on the thrilling Flight Force rollercoaster.

Afternoon: Lunch, Disneyland Park & Shows.

Time for lunch.

After a morning of exploring Walt Disney Studios, it's time to relax and enjoy a tasty lunch. We wouldn't recommend a table-service meal as the service across the parks tends to be a little slow and you really want to make the most of your time. Instead, stay in Avengers Campus and enjoy a visit to the Stark Factory (pictured below) for a quick-service meal surrounded by high-tech gear, including the giant Hulkbuster armour.

Alternatively, if the parks feel a little crowded, we suggest heading to Disney Village and enjoying lunch at Earl of Sandwich. The service here is usually pretty quick, the queues are low and the sandwiches are great.

Take a walk down Mainstreet USA.

After lunch, take the short walk across to the beautiful Disneyland Park. The Imagineers clearly spent a lot of time making this park feel special, so take your time and soak in the atmosphere as you walk down Mainstreet USA, especially if this is your first visit. Listen to the music, admire the design of the buildings, peer into the magical window displays and take in the sight of the beautiful Sleeping Beauty castle at the end of the street.

Venture into the Wild West in Frontierland.

After taking plenty of pictures of this part of the park, head to Frontierland. Make your way over to the imposing house overlooking Frontierland and unearth the mystery that haunts Phantom Manor. When leaving this attraction, head to the side of the house and explore Boot Hill, a cemetery with humorous gravestones connected to the story of Phantom Manor.

Be sure to take a trip on "the wildest ride in the wilderness", Big Thunder Mountain. If the queue times are high (above 45 minutes), wait until later in the day to ride this attraction or consider purchasing a Premier Access Pass. (Note: This ride is currently under refurbishment, with an early summer 2025 reopening date.)

Enjoy a performance of the Broadway-style Lion King show.

Disneyland Paris is home to some incredible stage shows. With only 1 day in Disneyland Paris, we would prioritise seeing The Lion King: Rhythms of the Pride Lands (our favourite) located at the far end of Frontierland. This impressive show features live singers, dancers, and acrobats which bring iconic scenes from The Lion King to life. We highly recommend catching a performance if the show is running during your visit and suggest arriving 30 - 45 minutes before the performance to get a seat.

Evening: Rides, Fireworks & Shopping

Adventure awaits in Adventureland.

Take a trip to Agrabah and explore Le Passage Enchanté d'Aladdin, a walkthrough attraction of miniature scenes retelling the story of Aladdin. From here, you're a short walk away from Pirates of The Caribbean, an indoor boat ride through a town under pirate siege, featuring Captain Jack Sparrow.

Explore the wonders of Discoveryland.

Take a ride on our favourite rollercoaster at Disneyland Paris, Star Wars: Hyperspace Mountain, before journeying to a galaxy far far away, with Star Tours: The Adventures Continue.

Enjoy a delicious dinner.

After a full day of exploring Disneyland Paris, you'll be ready for a delicious meal. The parks close at different times of the year, so check the times for your visit before planning when and where to eat. To make the most of your park time, our advice is:

If Disneyland Park closes after 8pm: Eat before the nighttime show inside of the park. As with lunch, we wouldn't recommend a table-service meal, as the service across the parks can be a little slow. However, Disneyland Park has some great quick-service options for lunch. Some of our favourites include: Café Hyperion in Discoveryland, Hakuna Matata in Adventureland, Casa de Coco in Frontierland (our personal favourite) and Casey's Corner located on Mainstreet USA.

If Disneyland Park closes before 8pm: Venture out and enjoy a meal at one of the restaurants in Disney Village or at one of the hotel restaurants after the park has closed. Some of the best meals we have enjoyed at Disneyland Paris have been at the hotels. Downtown Restaurant at the Hotel New York - The Art Of Marvel is our personal favourite and the buffet restaurant Hunter's Grill at Sequoia Lodge. For a more formal dining experience, book a table at Manhattan Restaurant at Hotel New York or the newly opened La Forêt Secrète at the Disneyland Hotel for something extra special.

Tip: If you choose a table-service or a buffet restaurant, reserve a table as tables book up fast! Read our post on how to reserve a table at Disneyland Paris, (even when they're fully booked) here

Watch the fireworks.

A day in Disneyland Paris isn’t complete without experiencing the brand new nighttime spectacular, Disney Tales of Magic. This stunning show takes place at park closing and features incredible fireworks, drones, water effects, and projections on the Sleeping Beauty Castle and along the buildings on Main Street USA. For an extra touch of magic, grab a glass of champagne from the cart on Main Street USA to enjoy with the show.

After the show, don't forget to say goodbye to Mickey, who waves to guests as they leave the park. Find him at the train station at the front of the park.

The shops on Main Street USA remain open for about 45 minutes after the fireworks, making it a great time to grab some souvenirs. You can also enjoy some shopping at World of Disney in Disney Village and grab a drink at the Marvel themed Skyline Bar at Hotel New York to end the perfect day.

Tips & Other Things To Know:

• Guests with disabilities or a Long Term Chronic Disease can request a Priority Card or Easy Access Card for certain activities and services, depending on the official document provided by the guest. More information can be found here

• If you're visiting on a busy day and want to ride popular attractions with smaller wait times, we suggest making use of Disney Premier Access. This service is a pay per ride system which allows guests to skip large portions of the queues at the most popular attractions. To find out how this service works and how much it costs, visit the Disneyland Paris official website here.

If wait times are high when you visit and you're okay with being separated from your group on rides, consider using the single rider lines. You can find more information about how they work here. This option is especially useful on attractions that seat 3 guests per row, like Ratatouille and Parachute Drop. It can also be a good choice for WEB Slingers, Hyperspace Mountain, and Flight Force, depending on how long the regular queues are. However, we don’t recommend using the single rider line for Crush’s Coaster unless the single rider line wait time is under 20 minutes, as it tends to move very slowly.

• If you can, avoid visiting on a weekend as the parks will be busier, resulting in longer queues. We have found Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday to be the quietest days.

Each trip will be unique depending on your group size and individual needs, but we hope this itinerary will be helpful when planning your trip. No matter how you spend your day, Disneyland Paris always offers a magical experience.
